SAIA has developed an exhibition, lecture and articles around the topic 'Where do our fish come from?' to portray the marine aquarium fisheries in South East Asia, namely Indonesia and the Philippines, where still a majority of our tank mates originate from.

With these outreach tools we'd like to raise awareness for social and environmental conditions and concerns connected to the marine aquarium trade and thus hobby. Moreover we would like to bring together closer the supply and market side for better understanding and support of each other.

The exhibition consisting of pictures, video, panels and exhibits, can be booked by public aquaria, zoos and museums or scheduled within the scope of a topic related trade show/ fair.

Our lecture can be booked by any interested party (e.g. hobbyist club during yearly meeting). English and German versions are available. A French version is in development.

Our articles and photos are available for publication upon request. English, French and German versions are available.

All donations and fees collected by our outreach will support a project to improve the marine aquarium trade in Indonesia and/or the Philippines.
